In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March here in Washington D.C., we have brought back our book club with a new format. On October 11th, the day after the march, we plan to come together over brunch to fellowship and promote adult reading and literacy among West African communities. This book exchange will also be another opportunity during this historical weekend for multi-generational exchanges between people of various disciplines and industries.
Put together with the help of our sponsors and brothers and sisters of the National Pan-Helle, we expect a afternoon spent eating and conversing with others about their books as we try to raise money and awareness for youth education in West Africa.
